Services

Support for your next career step

Build your technical portfolio, practise interviews and learn to explain your work clearly. Your course agreement sets out the included support.

Included

Career assessment

A structured conversation about your current skills, constraints and target roles, ending with a written summary of the gap you actually have — not a generic list.

Included

Skills-gap analysis

Your background mapped against the topics in the roadmap, so you can see which stages you can skip and which ones will cost you in interviews.

Included

Resume guidance

A technical resume review against a published rubric: projects stated with constraints and results, no inflated tool lists, readable in twenty seconds.

Included

GitHub portfolio development

Repository structure, README quality, documented build and test steps, and honest descriptions of what each project does and does not do.

Included

Technical assessments

Timed Embedded C, pointer and memory, debugging and protocol exercises under conditions that resemble the real thing.

Included

Embedded interview preparation

Structured practice for C, peripherals, memory and debugging questions — with an emphasis on explaining reasoning rather than reciting definitions.

Included

RTOS and Linux interview preparation

Concurrency, scheduling, deadlock, stack sizing, syscalls, drivers and boot — the areas where candidates most often stall.

Included

Mock interviews

Recorded mock interviews with specific written feedback and a follow-up action list. Aimed at removing surprises, not coaching you into a script.

Included

Project presentation practice

Rehearsing a ten-minute walkthrough of your own project, including the trade-offs you made and what you would change.

Included

Job application guidance

How to target roles realistically, track applications, and follow up without spamming. We help you run the process; we do not submit on your behalf.

Working professionals

For engineers who already work

Experienced engineers rarely need the beginner path. Forcing a senior embedded developer through "what is a pointer" wastes months and costs credibility — so we scope around what you actually need.

Scheduling constraints

Evening and weekend sessions, plus mutually agreed slots where trainer capacity allows. Sessions are planned around a working week, not the other way round.

Existing technical knowledge

A skills-gap review first. If you already know C and peripherals, you start at RTOS, Linux or Edge AI — not at module one.

Targeted skills gaps

The roadmap lets you enter at a specific stage with explicit prerequisites, so you can name the gap you want closed.

Career transition

Moving from services to product, from application software to firmware, or from general embedded to a specialisation — each needs a different route.

Practical project requirements

Project work is chosen to be defensible in interviews for the roles you are targeting, not to fill a checklist.

Advanced specialisation

RTOS depth, Embedded Linux and drivers, automotive diagnostics, or TinyML — each available as a focused route once foundations are confirmed.

Tell us your current role, the technologies you use daily, and the role you want next. We respond with an honest view of the gap, the stages you can skip, and the effort involved — whether or not you enrol.

The preparation process

Six steps, run alongside the technical work

Career preparation only works when it is scheduled, not left to the final fortnight.

  1. Assessment and gap analysis

Where you stand today, which roadmap stages you can skip, and which will cost you in interviews.

  2. Portfolio construction

Two or three projects with written requirements, measured results and honest scope statements.

  3. Resume and profile review

A technical resume that survives a twenty-second scan, plus aligned GitHub and professional profiles.

  4. Timed assessments

Embedded C, memory and pointer questions, debugging exercises and protocol problems under time pressure.

  5. Mock interviews

Recorded sessions with specific written feedback, covering C, RTOS, Linux and your own projects.

  6. Application process

Targeting, tracking and follow-up treated as a measurable process rather than a burst of applications.

Tell us the role you are aiming at

We will give you an honest skills-gap read for that specific role — including the parts of the curriculum you can skip, and the parts you cannot.

Free, no obligation. We will tell you honestly if the programme is not the right fit for your background or goals.
