Peripheral Driver Suite
A reviewed, documented driver library written from reference manuals rather than vendor examples.
Learn Embedded Systems and Edge AI online across India through engineering mentorship, focused batches of up to five learners, hands-on hardware, and practical engineering projects.
*The course hardware kit is included. Delivery coverage and charges are confirmed before enrolment.
A regular batch at Embeddskills is capped at five learners. That single constraint is what makes individual attention, code review and live debugging possible instead of aspirational.
Each step produces an artefact you can show: reviewed code, a captured waveform, a test report, a working device.
Concepts introduced with the reason they exist and the failure they prevent.
Implemented immediately — no section advances on theory alone.
Your board, your sensors, real signals on a real bus.
Breakpoints, watchpoints and a logic analyser until the behaviour is explained.
Assemble components into a working device with documented architecture.
Write down what correct means, then prove it — including the failure cases.
Explain the design and defend the trade-offs to someone else.
A single, sequenced pathway from C programming through microcontroller firmware, RTOS, Embedded Linux, connected systems, automotive embedded and Edge AI, ending with production engineering and technical interview preparation.
Then Automotive Embedded (elective), Embedded AI, Production Engineering and Career Preparation — 10 modules in total.
Read the full curriculum, module by moduleSelect a stage to see what you study, why it matters, the practical exercise and the recommended next step.
Embedded work is still software work. Weak fundamentals show up later as "firmware bugs" that are really C mistakes.
Solve 30 small problems and refactor one solution three times, documenting each improvement.
Move to Embedded C once you can write small programs without looking up syntax.
This is the language interviewers test hardest and the language your firmware will actually be written in.
Implement a ring buffer and a CRC routine, then explain the memory layout of both from the map file.
Apply C to real silicon in Microcontroller Fundamentals.
Register-level understanding is what separates an embedded engineer from someone who calls library functions.
Bring up an unseen board from documentation alone: clocks, GPIO, then a timer interrupt.
Start talking to external chips in Peripheral Interfaces.
Most field failures are on a wire, not in an algorithm. Interface debugging is a daily skill.
Interface two sensors plus a display, capture every bus transaction on a logic analyser, and document error-recovery behaviour.
Structure the code into Firmware Development.
Projects stop working at scale unless the code has structure. This is where hobby code becomes engineering.
Refactor a flat superloop application into layered drivers plus a documented state machine with unit tests.
Deepen on a real target in ARM-based Systems.
ARM Cortex-M dominates the industry. Depth here transfers directly to most job descriptions.
Write a custom linker script, trigger and analyse a hard-fault, then fix the root cause.
Add concurrency with RTOS.
Concurrency is the single most common source of interview failure and field defects in embedded roles.
Build a multi-task controller with queue-based IPC, then deliberately inject a priority inversion and fix it.
Choose a specialisation: Embedded Linux, IoT, automotive or Edge AI.
Gateways, cameras, infotainment and edge gateways all run Linux. Driver skill is a scarce, well-paid specialty.
Implement a character driver exposing a device, add its device-tree node, and boot an image you built.
Connect devices in IoT and Networking.
Connected products fail at the network edge. Knowing retries, offline behaviour and updates is real engineering.
Ship telemetry from a device to a broker, survive a network outage, and perform a validated firmware update.
Combine with AI in Embedded AI, or go deeper in Automotive.
Pune and Maharashtra host large automotive engineering clusters; diagnostics and CAN are recurring hiring requirements.
Build a CAN data logger that performs a UDS session to configure its own capture settings.
Apply AI at the edge for perception or condition monitoring.
Edge AI only counts when it runs inside real constraints. This stage is about measurements, not demos.
Train, quantise and deploy a classifier, then report on-device latency, RAM and accuracy side by side.
Integrate everything in Integrated Projects.
Interviewers probe integration experience, not completed tutorials. This is where evidence is produced.
Deliver one end-to-end system with a written design, measured results and a recorded demonstration.
Convert the work into applications in Career Preparation.
Skill without evidence is invisible to recruiters. Evidence without interview skill is wasted.
Run three mock interviews and publish two project write-ups that explain trade-offs honestly.
Continue targeted study based on the roles you are actually targeting.
Each entry is an illustrative specification: the problem, the hardware, the architecture, how it is tested and what would be measured. None is presented as work already completed by a learner.
A reviewed, documented driver library written from reference manuals rather than vendor examples.
Sample, filter and report multi-sensor data with deterministic timing you can prove.
Three buses, real devices, and documented error recovery for each.
A production-shaped RTOS application with measured headroom and deliberate defects you fix.

Practise with the course-specific hardware kit included in your fee. Delivery details are confirmed for your location before enrolment.
The programme determines which boards, sensors and accessories you actually need. We do not ship hardware that the syllabus will not use.
You receive the exact bill of materials for your programme — boards, sensors, breadboard, cabling and accessories — before you commit. If you already own compatible hardware, the kit component can be adjusted.
The kit is packed and dispatched to your address. Delivery coverage and timelines are confirmed per cohort and per location before enrolment.
A guided setup checklist gets your board recognised by your computer, drivers installed, toolchain verified and a first program flashing — before any syllabus session begins.
Each module has practical experiments run against your own hardware, with waveforms, measurements and results to compare against the expected behaviour.
You build and keep a portfolio of projects on the same hardware, so the kit becomes a continuing lab rather than a single-use box.
Boards vary by programme. A Linux module may specify a Linux-capable board instead.
Sensor selection follows the experiments in your syllabus.
Sized so that experiments can be built without extra purchases.
Availability depends on the programme. Some cohorts provide shared instruments instead.
Live classes, structured recordings and hands-on labs connect code, hardware, waveforms and project review.

If something is not decided yet, the answer says so.
No programming experience is required for the flagship programme — Module 1 starts from C fundamentals. Basic comfort with a computer and a command line is expected. If you already program in another language, the first module will move quickly for you and we will confirm during the consultation whether you can start deeper into the path.
The programme is designed for Electronics, E&TC, Electrical, Instrumentation and Computer Science/IT backgrounds, plus working software engineers moving into embedded. Mechanical or other branches are welcome if you are comfortable with basic electronics concepts — we will flag anything you need to cover first.
Yes, with the right scope. Working engineers usually need a targeted plan rather than the complete beginner path. See the working professionals section, and mention your current role and goals in the consultation so we can scope it honestly.
A computer capable of running a C toolchain and a serial terminal, plus the hardware specified for your programme. Your course-specific hardware kit is included in the fee. Confirm delivery arrangements with admissions.
Regular batches are capped at a maximum of five learners. That is a structural choice, not a marketing line: it is what makes individual code review, live debugging alongside a trainer, and per-learner project feedback realistic. One-to-one training is offered separately and is a genuinely different format.
Contact admissions to choose your next available online cohort. Fees range from ₹35,000 to ₹1,10,000, including the hardware kit and excluding GST.
The indicative range is 9 to 13 months at roughly 14 to 20 total hours per week: approximately 6 hours of live sessions plus 8 to 14 hours of independent labs and study. It is not a fixed duration: pace depends on your background, how much project work you take on, and the schedule you choose. We do not claim mastery in compressed timeframes.
No. No salary, internship, job or placement outcome is guaranteed.
